Part 1: general

You have signed up for one or more users for a certain period of time. The person who has completed the subscription will have first access to the online system and is therefore organization administrator.

This guide gives you insight into the management of webcamconsult via PC or tablet, with a normal web browser. You can use your tablet or smartphone (iOS / Android) next to your PC for online consultation with webcamconsult. For this you must first install the App "Webcamconsult" (IOS) or "Webcamconsult Pro" (Android) on your tablet or smartphone. You can find them on the Apple Appstore or Google Playstore respectively. The App is limited in functionality and is purely for the consultant/therapist to see appointments in his/her agenda, and possibly to make appointments and to actually do the online consultations.

Attention! Since 2017, all recent browsers on Android can be used for Webcamconsult, so the app is not necessary anymore to be able to have video calls.

1. Access

To access the webcamconsult system, you open your internet browser (eg, Chrome, Firefox, Internet Explorer 10+) and broswe to: http://yourcompanyname.webcamconsult.com

Instead of 'yourcompanyname' fill the company name that you provided when subscribing. You have received information about this by mail. You will find a general login screen, where you can sign in with the login credentials you provided.
If you haven’t received this email (check your Spam), or don’t have it anymore you can click on Forgot Password ( http://yourcompanyname.webcamconsult.com/users/password/new/ ) and you can create a new password.

There are some browsers in use that are not suitable for our video streaming standard. For example, Apple Safari and Microsoft Edge and you are not in a position to install Chrome or Firefox, we recommend to download and install the Webcamconsult desktop application (only for Windows).

In this application, you can simply sign in with your Webcamconsult login credentials, after which all the features of the dashboard and consulting room are available, and you can do your webcamconsults.

This application also allows your client to enter a PIN in order to access your online consultation at the right time. In the desktop application, you can click "use pin code" and enter your PIN. If no PIN is used, you can copy the link from the email and paste it into the webcamconsult desktop application. You can include the PIN in the standard email invitation. For more information on this subject, see "Client texts" - "Standard mails"

2. Dashboard

After you have logged in, you will be taken to the dashboard screen. Next to the Dashboard you will find some blocks containing important information.

3. Menu

The menu depends on the subscription you have chosen. In this document we show a standard version with 5 employees, with different roles:

- organisation administrator
- division administrator
- consultant

The organization administrator is the administrator of your webcamconsult system and can create departments and users. The department administrator (usually secretary) registers clients and creates appointments and is allowed to enter service announcements. The therapist or consultant is generally the doctor or consultant who does the actual online consultation, and in some cases self-manages clients and appointments. This will always be the case if there is a single user subscription. On the left side you will see an overview of the management features available to you.

3.1. Today

This is the opening screen after logging in, with on the right side three information windows:

  • My division: specifying which division you are assigned to
  • Appointments: which appointments are scheduled for you today.
    If you click on the "Add Appointment" button, you can enter a new appointment. For client number you can use the registrationnumber of the patient or client registered in your own file
  • Active service announcements: The active messages, which are displayed for waiting patients / clients in your online waiting room
